I had herpes around 7 years ago, when I was in college and had a stupid one-nighter. I suppose a lot of girls say this but know that I never did that sort of thing. I think most people are thinking too much into the race of the individual and not accepting a very basic fact: you date who you are around. As one becomes successful (men and women) and acquire more wealth in the US, they are predominantly around those that are not black. In the case of men, for every black woman that he comes across, there will be countless other non-blacks. If he doesn't hit it off with the small pool of black women that exist in his circle (and race isn't a important factor for him), he will more than likely start dating outside of his race. The same rule applies to women as well.

Another factor, for both men and women, would include the negative backlash from your own race that comes when you elevate your lifestyle and behave in a manner that matches such (called uncle tom, sellout, fake, etc). If I were looking for someone to date and 5/100 were black women and we did not hit it off, you better believe I'd be exploring other races.

At the end of the day, we are all HUMAN. Stop focusing so much on the race and color of someone's skin and more on the "content of their character". If MLK's dream was to have people of all backgrounds mixing and mingling, shouldn't you expect some people to develop an attraction to another race? Think bigger picture and step out of your small world.

Lets not make it complicated by pretending we don't know what the problem is. Three qualities that all good wives have, but that most black women simply do not...Humility, Respect, Submission. Its not a secret that it was systematically removed from their mind by centuries of racism, especially the past 40 years. Hey, it is what it is. But despite our objection to her ways, most black women refuse to acknowledge the hard truths in order to correct her path. It has made most (and by most, I mean almost all) black women unmarriable. So black men have come to realize that you cant force an adult woman to do anything they don't choose to do, so we black men simply go to women who do possess these qualities (all other races).
